Resident Stories
What drew you to Trilith? We knew we were moving back to Atlanta from L.A. but didn’t know what that would look like until we learned about Trilith. A town for creating focused on community and sustainability was exactly what we were seeking. We were drawn to the idea of pioneering something with others who shared the same vision.
How long have you lived in Trilith? We’ve lived here for almost two years. We grew up in Georgia but spent decades in NYC and L.A. before coming home to raise our girls closer to our extended family.
What makes your home unique? Our great room and kitchen combined, where we spend most of our time, is such a place of peace and gathering for our family. But, our favorite thing to do is watch the sunsets from our porch. The sunsets in this area rival anything we ever saw in California.
What is the best part of living in this community? We love watching our children grow around other families that we truly enjoy. We love gathering in the parks with other families for cookouts and playing games. We've truly enjoyed all the people we've gotten to know here and feel so grateful to be a part of such a loving place. Ideas can be born here and grow into something meaningful that generates value for the community at large.
What amenity are you enjoying the most in the community? Michael and I most enjoy Piedmont Wellness Center, and as a family we most enjoy the pool and the forest trails. We love our daily walks throughout the neighborhood, just being in nature together.
What do you do when you’re not raising a family? I am a storyteller in film and television here in Atlanta and have been very fortunate to be a part of some wonderful productions. Michael is a writer and entrepreneur. He spends a lot of time brainstorming ideas, working on creative projects and, when not in quarantine, working on a luxury travel company he owns in Los Angeles.
How does living in Trilith fuel your creativity? The environment here fuels our creativity because we can breathe, rest and collaborate with other artists.
